Putting your patients at the heart of patient flow, unlocking capacity and helping you work smarter

The second annual Nursing Times Patient Flow Forum took place virtually on the mornings of Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 May 2021.

The forum attracted over 200 delegates from across NHS acute, community and mental health providers, and the independent sector. Attendees heard from a range of guest speakers who covered a variety of topics, including improving patient flow through technology, improving delayed transfers of care, reducing readmissions, and more.

During the event we also announce our Ignite Innovation winner… Well done to Charlotte Leonard from Caerphilly Community Response team! The judges said "It’s great to see how a clear framework and escalation for carers can support admission avoidance. Demonstrates collaborative working and good use of data to inform the innovation. The team have used admission data to take ownership of a problem and implement a solution with measurable outputs".
